Default Headers

Greetings members. I am new to this forum but not to the vehicle game. I've been working on rides since I learned how to drive.

I have an 02 Silverado with a 5.3. Only engine mods are a throttle body spacer and CAI. I'm getting ready to add some headers. what / who makes the best headers for your LS engine applications.

I've heard and read good things about Dynatech headers. I live in Florida. All of my vehicle are registered there. There are no emissions or inspections in Fl. :-) I'm thinking about going the no cat route. Are Dynatech headers the best way to go or are there other choices that are equal or better? Thoughts? Thanks all in advance.

I have very good pricing for PT members on American Racing Headers. Send me a PM if you're interested, prices too low to post.

Pace setter long tube headers are what i put on my truck and have been very happy with them ever since. Theres not a lot of options for good headers when it comes to these trucks. Unless you got a pipe bender and a welder.

Just finished my LPP headers lastnight. No problems with plug wires touching and no other clearance issues..

I ended up going with Calspeed 1-3/4" on mine. No fitments or plug wire issues here either.

Hey all,

Thanks for the replies. Indeed this is an informative site. Collectively you've provided me with some additional options to research. Glad I asked, all I had heard much about was dynatech but this expands my search options.

I basically have headers on all my rides. I want to put headers on this one. Florida doesn't have emissions or inspections thankfully so I'm also considering deleting the cats. Thoughts? Thanks again everyone.

The ARH are some of the nicest headers you can get. Pricey, but they're top notch.

The dynatech will have their limits as they only have a 2.5" collector.
