Default headers

I guess its like buying tires, you get what you pay for, however I would like a decent set because they are my next upgrade. I would really like dynatech's but those are out of my price range. I was checking out texas speed and they have ceramic coated pacesetters for under 4 hundred. Thats not a steal but its not horrible either. Pace setters any good? Should I just buy the dynatechs or is there another brand in the middle of the road somewhere?

thanks.

There's some Thorley's on sale here for $400 I think. Ceramic coated and tri-y design which is great for a street truck. Best bang for your buck if you ask me. I've got mine still in a box and fixin to go on here in a couple weeks.

The headers on Ebay for 340 are really nice and very easy to bolt on, no problems what so ever..

I was advised not to get the coated pacesetters. I got the painted ones, but I believe they make a stainless set.

I definitely did not post up anything about this recently. I was unaware of all the information on here until after I posted.
The search button works……
I would like to keep this thing semi quiet so I’m leaving the cats, no need to take them off unless they get plugged, but should I leave the stock ones or invest in some “high flowing” ones? I was told once that all cats nowadays are high flowing compared to the early years, they just don’t tell you ones that come stock on cars and trucks now are high flowing.
Any truth to that?
Also, I live in PA so yea the winters get horrible mostly, with tons of salt on the roads. Is ceramic the ticket or go with some stainless? My stainless steel muffler is already pitting so it looks like a waste, not that I bought it because it was stainless I’m just stating the facts.

get stainless, if you wanna keep it quiet. throw a bullet and a magnaflow on it to keep rasp down, or buy a catted y-pipe.
