this is the summit brand truck headers. i bought them, when they showed up they were pacesetter brand.

150 bucks, and they work fine.

The coated headers will resist corrosion better, that's one big reason to pay a little extra. Nothing like popping the hood to show off your engine and having rusty old headers! lol! I believe they will also help hold heat in a little better, which may help with scavenging, and O2 sensor performance. Others will chime in soon.

Having them coated is worth the extra coin IMO, not sure about the scavenging, but everything else that AKlowriderZ71 said is dead on.

has anyone installed that LPP? I am curious to know how it performs with the 1 5/8" primary. Obviously if i have huge cams and forced induction i want the 1 3/4" but it seems logical to me that the 1 5/8" primary might allow for less torque loss over the pacesetter.

The LPP setup really looks like a nice setup
