You don't have an air pump.

Some 99's and 00's cam wit AIR, check your exhaust manifolds for fittings going to each port on both left and right banks. If you have fittings, you have AIR...it's very rare though. As for the difference between shorties and LT's, shorties just replace the factory manifolds and yield minimal gains. LT's have long tubed primaries that go all of the way down and merge in a collector, near the y-pipe. LT's are the only way to go, unless your state mv inspection strictly prohibits it.

Stainless 1 5/8 primaries, 3" Collector with 3" ORY for 500 bucks.... we've got a new king of the hill in the cheap header market!

Godamn they are a nice looking header.. If only they had a bigger primary, I would have been all over them...

Thats my vote if you plan to keep it under 500hp

My 2000 has AIR, I guess I'm one of the rare one's lol! I have Pacesetter LT's and ORY and I love them, they look great and fit very well. Can't beat 'em for the price they're on sale for right now.

$20 cheaper to buy them together. $379.99 vs $399.98

The $484.50 set should be ceramic coated.
