u dont need it. Its supposed to cut down on heat. Im gonna wrap mine at the most. I just got my painted Pacesetter LTs

The problem you will have is that the paint burns off. Coated are the way to go.

 

I got mine for somethin like 2hundo? I wanna say.. or about 180. I got a free Air-Aid TB spacer with it so I thought y not **** with the ricers? haha, but yeah I could kinda tell.. But its just like every other little mod, it needs a complement. I.E. exhaust and intake, headers and intake that kinda thing. But everything together usually meets a big improvement. Halleluah here comes my cam install

 

if I dont wrap Im just gonna paint em with some high temp rattle can. Haven't heard bad about it yet.

 

I have had both. I bought a set of painted's, and my current car came with coated's. I can't say whether there is a performance difference, other than lower under hood temp. Either way, they are one of the best mod's out there.

 

wraped+reg steel=rust and the header eating itself by being cooked all the time.
coated or nothing

 

On the street, header wrap just kills your headers in a few years from rust, even if you're not in the midwest or nothern snow/salt belt areas.

 

get coated or buy them again in a few years. I say spend the money now and save it later
