yep the coating isnt as much performance as saving your a$$, without a good coating you will be lucky to get a few years out of them

i say get them coated, i got the painted ones, they have been on for just over a year and they are already rusting. raping them makes it worse, my bro did it and rusted a hole throw in a year and a half.
