Is Hooker LT what everyone is getting now& how bad is the install?

hooker lt or pacesetter lt's... install isnt too bad.. requires aftermarket y-pipe or modified stocker.

Yes, but they need to be moved back some. When you order the headers get a pair of "collector rings" in the same size as the flanges on the headers. Those come in pairs and will run you about $6.
Anyone with a MIG welder can make quick work of setting that up for you. Personally, I like to tack everything into place with the flanges bolted and tight, then drop the whole exahust and weld around the seams to make sure it doesn't leak. Leaks can make you hate it.

ASM's... went in like butter

you have to mod the y pipe for them to fit though.. i read a post that guys with pacesetters are starting to see rust spots already on their new headers.. my ASM's still look like new

i forgot about the asm's... quicksilverado has them on his truck.. they look awesome, still. He had to do some mods to the y-pipe, yes, but look at it this way.. either gut the cats or cut those bitches off while you have the y-pipe off for modification, it'll be worth it in the long run

i just cut mine off cause i didnt need them and its no emmision crap close to me either
