Default Headers

Any sugestions for headers on a stock enternals motor?
How hard is it to install them on an 03 extended cab?

Everybody with your truck goes with pacesetter headers. they are a good price and pretty good quality from what i hear. the install isnt as bad as an F-body.

Has anyone installed them before? Can i get a ball park idea of time and easiest way to do it. (from the bottoms or the top?)

Haha Plan to spend a HOLE night putting them in. I dont remember which way I put each side in but I do remember we did the driver side from the bottom. You must unbolt the steering stim thingy and I took out the 2nd spark plug from the rear. Besides that a buddy or 2 helps alot (if you trust them) to take the stock manifolds off. Time consuming since you cant put power tools on the botls.

BTW I went with pacesetter LT's

i guess they make pacesetters to fit 4x4 now? If they havent then they arent gonna work.

ASM's, Togs and dynatechs are nice.. stainless works makes some LT's also.

I have ASM's and fit was freaking awesome! A hellova lot simple installing these on trucks than cars lol. The hardest part is getting the stock mani's from the y pipe. If you go longs, you have to get a y pipe that fits the headers or cut your stocker to make it work

I was going to mention the supermaxx system but i couldnt remember what brand they were. they are also SUPER expensive.
