Default headers...

So...what did everyone decide with the header discussion that was posted a while back?

Which headers come with a 3" coll.? I was looking at the Hamms but want a bigger collector and would like to have a true full length header. Has anyone had the ASM on a dyno? I know what the Hamms make.

Why didnt you ask when I saw you! <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0"> I dynoed my truck with K&N FIPK, Gibson cat back, HPP3, and a 160 thermo. I dyoned 264.3 rwhp and 298.2 rwhp. With AS&M headers and ASP I dynoed 282.6 rwhp and 314.9 rwtq. I never dyoned with the 3200 stall converter.

Good luck on the hunt.

im glad i finally got to see some numbers from as&m to compare, thanks

from the looks of it hamm is a better buy, but also from the sound of it, hamm is WAY too busy to produce the ammount of headers people are ordering and there is a long wait, so depends on how soon u want them i guess.
