Default header questions

I am fairly new to the site, so bear with me. I plan to buy some headers for my truck in the next week or so. I would like to know your opinions on which ones offer the best performance, and are virually maintaince free. These puppies will have to withstand the harsh winters of the northeast. I definantely want to go long tube.

Depending on how much you want to spend I'd either go with Pacesetter coated LTs or the Supermaxx system. Both would give good gains and while the Supermaxx system costs more its easier to install (no welding) and comes with high flow cats. Fitment on both systems seems to be really good from what I've read. Good luck and Welcome to the Board

PaceSetters require no welding. (I did but you can get the y-pipe that is slip on and clamps down.)

Thanks for all your replies, does Pacesetter make a long tube for 4x4's. And what about AS&M headers?
