I would say weld a new y pipe?? but why keep the cats??? you dont know what you are missing out on... all you got to do is have your tuner delete the rear O2's....

I had thought about this too. When I get my new project would like to do this too, but I will be going true duals. Was thinking that getting a set of cat pipes off of an HD truck and modify them to work with the pacesetters.

Is it a ceramic coat? and if i was to get them would they rust ( keep in mind i live in minnesota and theres lots of salt on the roads )

Yes You Can Run Cats With The L/t's. The Random Technologies Cats Are Nice, But Are About $150.00 A Piece. It Is A Pretty Tight Squeeze Between The Collector And The Transmission Crossmember, But They Will Fit. Your Best Bet Is To Have A Custom Y Pipe Bent.

I have pacesetter into 2.5" pipe and the cats were in the stock location for a month or so...then took them off. My pipe then runs into a xpipe and then into two flowmaster 40 series dumped before the axle. The sound is MUCH better and performance is better without cats. It isnt much louder under 2500rpms without cats. Can still get around the neighborhoods late at night without even being herd pretty much. But if you get on it it will get kinda loud.

you will have to have a custom Y-Pipe bent and it will work just fine with the stock cats, I didn't feel a diff. when i had cats or without them, good luck.
