I got so confused with injectors, while building mine, i ended up getting a full take off intake and put it on abd turned out ended up with 40-42 lb flexfuel, got lucky

Coat and wrap those shiny things. the valve noise is .. Loud..
Hells yea! You got the latest revision, passenger 02 is clocked completely diff..
Looking at that pic, my O2 is at the 1 oclock position.
Post on clearance issues, if you have any.
You have the spikes in the collector?

Good luck with it. The last 5.3 I messed with I had to Helicoil 3 bolts in one head. I have about 6 LS heads kicking around the shop and nearly all have bolts broken flush with the head. I got lucky on the 8.1. Every manifold stud except 1 pullled out with the nut and I put some CRC freezeoff on the one and worked it out.

Only 1 broken bolt on the drivers rear, going to weld a nut on it in the morning and get it out. Everything else worked like a champ. Spikes in the collector, yes. Hoping fitment is good. I noticed the pipes are extremely loose on the slip fit so I'll have to peck them down a little to get it it clamp down correctly.

The 99s injectors are MAXED OUT on a stock engine. After 99 GM had a mild cam change, better PCM tune, larger injectors and more power from the same engine.

Dont remember exactly but the 99 injectors were something like 32lbhr or some stupid crap.... Barely enough for the 5.3/6.0
