Hey guys, do any of you know the part number for the stock header gaskets? I might also need the gasket that conects the y pipe to the cat back if there even is one. I have not looked. Thanks in advance

 

are you installing headers? The stock gaskets can usually be reused without a problem, they appear to be stainless steel. As for the Y-pipe, it will vary according to what headers you are installing. Stock on the pass. side there is a beveled ->flare end that is self-sealing and on the driver side there is a rubber donut gasket that is reuseable.

 

if I was you just go to the dealership and buy some new gaskets. I bought mine like for 25bucks a pair, that way you know they are new and wont have to take a chance of having a leak....

 

Im pretty sure the LS1 gasktes are the same as the 5.3's. 12558573 - Exh. manifold gasket. Dont run the crap papers that come with the headers.

 

yea i plan to just buy new stock gaskets, but was wondering on the part number cause i can get them cheaper online but need the part number to order them.
