Default Header coating worth it?

I thought about buying dynatech LT's for my truck. They come stainless steel but they offer coating for an additional $260. Is it worth it?

Get the stainless if they offer it on LTs you want, they is a a fails safe, no rust ever on stainless.. If you saying they offer a coating over the SS naw just get the uncoated SS

These are stainless from pacesetter and if i remember the cost of the painted correct that only like 30 buck more!

I think these are just the coated though...i read further into the description.

since they are ss they won't rust, but they will turn a rainbow shade of colors. if you are worried about looks. coated stay a uniform color. ceramic coating also keeps the heat inside the exhaust instead of under the hood. is it worth $260? probably not.

thats a lot of green to spend on a set of headers. you may look into getting them coated elsewhere. a guy I work with built a bucket and had the headers coated in dallas for 150 or 200. save some money and try them out regular, and if you want go get them coated.
