thanks for the help...I do like the sound of my current bullets I think its just the fact that the pipes aren't connected give it a different tone...what kind of cats should i get if i leave the stock manifolds and go the x-pipe route? How will my emissions hook ups work? will my exhaust shop take care of all that stuff for me? I think the x-pipe and some nice high flow cats would be great because there would be no need for a tune to delete thrown codes...any other input?

random tech. bassani, magnaflow, all have good ceramic cats. I would go with a magnaflow x pipe. Your exhaust shop should just cut the old cats out and put the new ones in, simple as that. It is illegal to remove proper function cats so if you don't know the shop real well i would take a hammer and beat the crap out of them. it should sound really nice after that. do you do the sniffer or just visual inspection? might jsut be able to hollow out your stock cats.

you can't afford to put a x pipe in or you don't want to or don't think you'll have room. Not really sure what your saying.

no, i can afford the x-pipe, i just misread your quote, I can do an x-pipe with highflows, i just need to have the pipes bent to reach the exhaust in the stock location
