You don't have to change the lifters. With that cam, I don't know if I would change the intake out or not. I'm not changing mine out yet, gonna see what the numbers look like on the dyno first. Then, we MIGHT change it to a Victor Jr, if the numbers aren't what we're expecting. But I would try the truck intake out first, if it falls on it's face like everyone says, then buy a different one.

thats a big cam, it will work good if you go with a 3500+converter.

The guy at Patriot said the powerband is 2000-5800 what's your opinion on that? Any suggestions on an intake.

Tan327 ran that cam wtih a TT3000. thats a tight 3000 stall converter. FInd you a loose 3200 or 3400, he is rcsb, and his truck would have been pullin alot harder out of the hlole.

if you are towing like that I would do a slightly smaller cam maybe like a 222 or 224, and go with a TT3000, thats a good converter to tow with occasionally...
