Default Head bolts

I heard that if you pull the heads off on our trucks when you put them back on your suposed to use new head bolts. Also how does every one torque their heads down? GM Says to use a torque angle meter???

If you are going to change the lifters you have to pull the heads.

You don't NEED an angle-gauge but it makes life a little simpler if you have one, check out jmx's write-up at www.ls1howto.com ...he has probably the best heads/cam swap info page there is....and if you have any questions you can PM him because he's a member here too

Might be a good time to get some reusable bolts like the ARP's while you've got the heads off.
