Default Which HD radiator to get??

I'm thinking of upgrading my radiator to the larger HD one. What should I get?? With or without oil cooler? I have the oil cooler lines that came with my 6.0 swap so I could install them, but is there any REAL benifit from it??

I have the 34" rad w/o the oil cooler, just the trans cooler. If you have the lines and just require the rad for the oil cooler I'd install the oil cooler too. I think the price is negligable.

REAL benefit, just a slightly cooler oiling system. I think oil temps need to be around 180-220* F for optimal wear and such. If you get too hot down there you will burn the oil...since you are FI with a large motor I'd say cooling down your motor in the most efficient way possible is a good idea.

Hope that helps...

When I upgraded mine, I miss ordered the 34" radiator with the oil cooler and it was cheaper than the 34" w/o the oil cooler.

Just get the one with the oil cooler. If you decide not to hook it up, no big deal. But it will be nice to have it. Cool oil is a good thing.
