Running a boost line all the way up there doesn't effect the reading?

I've allways thought that would be a good place for a Nitrous guage and control panel. Not that i'm ever going to add nitrous to my setup

Just got mine

Very nice piece, the quality is unreal! I should have it installed next week with our boost gauge and a fuel pressure gauge.

Pics to follow.

As long as the line isn't kinked, or leaking, the reading will be the same, boost is PSI, it fills the space, and is measured the amount of pressure, so as long as the line isn't kinked, cutting off the pressure, it will read the same as if it were drilled and tapped right tinto the intake.

I took those while doing the install on my LLY Duramax truck. So far they are working well, max stock boost and EGT has been 23 pounds and 1000 degrees. The LLY sure seems to do some funky stuff with the VVT as the boost seems to move around quite a bit especially at shift points.

I did do a writeup on the install with more photos here:

I was at the Autometer booth at SEMA in November. Autometer is working on an instrument cluster for the overhead consoul in our trucks. I talked with them last week and was told they were done. I should have mine this week. I'll post picks when it gets here.
