Yup ... I'm short about 7 miles to the gallon on a good day, highway driving at 70.

i dont think it is just a plate. it has the holes for the guages at an angle so you can see them better.

The piece i have is just a plate, but is still top quality, cnc'd out of billet, the only thing, is that the plate is flat, but for over a hundy difference, i can deal with the guages not angled perfectly at me, and like someone said above, autometer makes the mounts to angle the guages.

Here is a pic:

The page, in case i don't know how to really post pics:

The one in the pic is for there attitude monitor, but they offer the blank ones also.

That, and now that i have the actual plate, i could have someone make a thicker one cnc'd up, with the angled mounts cut out already, if i was dead set on having the guages face me. But for guys who are just mounting switches and such, 45 bucks is a smokin deal for a pre made plate that fits right, no fab work or time to invest.

But the one there is sweet looking, i would rather have it brushed looking, or painted to match thetruck/interior maybe? 100 times better than pillar guages, i had a pillar on my Z28, and it worked, but the clean mounted look like the above is so much better.
