Default Have two cams, Which to use?

I have a pretty heavy truck. I do not tow or haul much anymore and have an issue. I do not know which cam to use!

Cam 1 228/228 571/571 114lsa

Cam 2 228/232 598/598 111+3

I would like some low end and mid range and of course a great sound.

I really don't care about making power at 6500 or 7000

I am going to buy a 3200 yank stall for the 4l80

If i am correct #2 will make better low end and mid range and will also sound "meaner".

What does everyone else think?

I am kinda new to the whole gas thing, i converted from diesels!!

Im a convert too, was heavy into powerstrokes for 8 years, I bleed 15-40, have some friends in the go fast gas department, but I haven't been there much myself.
I don't know for sure, I do know that a 111 LSA will lope alot, and the stall will help with either, cause both will make more power at a higher stall.
I think the second cam should make more grunt down low, but I don't know how dependable 111 lsa is, may be a hard winter starter, don't know for sure.

I am used to 3 or 400 horse and 7 or 800 tourqe being just a grand or 2 away, at the wheels. My truck weighed 7000 lbs and it would outrun and outpull my new one, just needed a more family oriented truck
Still gotta tinker with what I got though...

exactly what i was thinkin' i have to tinker with something. This truck is not an everyday driver!!
I had a cummins twin turbo 727hp and over 1000 of tq. I had to change it up. Diesels are getting crazy around here, everyone has one.
I sold it and bought a gasser three years ago to try and stop the hp addiction and now my little brother has a 5.3 with lots of mods and i really have the itch!!!

I havn't heard about low lsa and hard starts.
Does anyone have anymore info on that?

With a good tune you will not have a problem.

I am going to get a professional tune and also buy hp tuners. Hopefully who-ever i buy the tune from will leave it unlocked, so i can make minor mods if needed.
No really good local tuners that i know of.

RC EC what kinda truck are we looking at here. What 6.0?
cam #2 will produce some nice power but peak power will be around 7K IIRC going on a comp grind that is very very similar, if it's not the same cam. What other mods are done also?

go for cam 2 it will peak about 62-6300 in a 6.0 and also get rid of your iron heads for some nice 317s or 243s
