Default have an idea...

i just straight piped my cats on my avalanche with a 3 inch single borla xr-1... the sound is just nasty... however i get this like 1/2 throttle rapping sound that im not super fond of... everything else i love... i was thinking about what if i get a single 3 inch cat and put it right after the y pipe it would cure this but keep most of the nasty good sound i now have... something like a dynatec race cat or something that is super highflow... i am doing a front mount turbo this spring and i want to run a cat for the final exhaust setup for the turbo and i was thinking i would kill 2 birds with one stone... any ideas guys?!

yes, you can always add a cut-out for extra flow if you feel it is holding you back

beautiful idea... Love the way that sounds... Are there anymore options for high flow cats? Or is magnaflow the absolute best...
