See thats where Im kinda stumped. The TBSS intake and the truck intake is completely different, so obviously clearing out some guts from the TBSS intake will have gains... ON the TBSS...

Now it gets odd IMO.
If the LS6 intake isnt big enough of a gain to swap out the truck intake wth is porting a truck intake gonna do unless your running nitrous..... ^^^

There was a thread around here in reference to the TBSS intake btw, I believe that there are 2 designs, the first design and the newer design. For anyone who's interested in doing the swap, I'd do a search first to make sure that you get the better of the two. I remember that the thread linked to a thread on a TBSS forum that was cutting the intakes open and porting them out, then re-selling them. From what I remember, the first design showed very little gains. Hopefully someone will remember what I'm referring to if need be.

Got my intake today Thanks to Corey. I'll be contacting them soon to check if this would improve my gains with my cam. Since I only saw that people were running them with boltones only.

Sweet. That would help me a lot. Regarding the 90mm TB, is the outer diameter the same? i.e. will my stock intake tube still fit over it?
