Has anyone heard of a Power wire for the IAT?

Default Has anyone heard of a Power wire for the IAT?

The dodge boys can buy this Power wire, thats a resistor that tells your ECU that the intake air is approx. 20 degree C lower at what it actually is. Anyone know how to make one?

the fbodys have a sensor like that but its for a stock vehicle. tunes do the rest

Its not a very smart way to make power, but you could switch to an fbody IAT sensor and relocate it to the grill so it gets cold air. I agree that you should just get a tune though.

I did it on a ford, and it sort of worked. I went to Radio Shack and bought a resistor and put it in there. In fact I bought several resistors and tried various ones. Couldn't really tell all that much difference. I ran it awhile and took it out.

Go up to NAPA. Ask for part numbers TSC300 and TS4026. Splice the two wires that run to the MAF sensor (where the onboard IAT is located). Put the IAT wherever you want.
