I have yet to see any before and after dyno #'s making this swap worth the money.

Ive been piecing this intake swap together for a damn near two years. Why so long. Becuase it was on the bottom of my list to do and it was damn near almost a unkown at the time except for a few people with cable TB's like YELO. Well now that Ive marked of msot of my list Im getting back into getting it done. Im still not real sure of which way to go though. Here is what I have

LS6 Intake
97/98 vette fuel rails
car style injectors
MSD connectors
Beauty Covers
F-body water pump

So basiclly all Im lacking is the idler relocation bracket. Its not the money holding me back its the fact that there are so many conflicting reports on things.

Will the Speartech bracket work with a F-body Water pump?
Do I need to press on the truck pulley to the F-bod WP?
Do I need to get a 97 Vette WP and then get a bracket made for the idler pulley
What do i do about a FPR?
What mods need to be done since using the BBK 80mm TB?
Do I say screw the brackets and have one custom fabed easily?
etc...
etc...
etc...

Obviously this is a semi-custom type job and ***** comes up but Im the kind of person that doesnt like suprises. I want everyhting I need to be there. Ive already decieded that Im having my buddy at the perf shop do it to speed things up so any suprises should be able to be tackled.

Why cant someone with a 03' and BBK do a write up? LOL!

if you go with a 05 or newer 90mm SSR intake you will not have to get custom brackets or relocate the idler pully. and you will not have to change your water pump.

Did your 97/98 vette rail not come with the FPR? Also, where did you get it?

The SSR intake and a cable-drive 90mm TB (Nick Williams or the like) should work together...you might have to fab up a bracket for the cable (modify a '99-'02 bracket) but other than that I think it'd work ok (no basis for proof here...I'm only speculating based upon the experiences of others)
