Question Guys with pacesetters

I'm going to install pacesetters with my stock AC delco plugs and wires. Did you use any kind of heat insualtion for your wires? looking at the pictures it doesnt look like they will rub at all

Thank you

I used stock wires for a little while. no shields, no problems. I switched to MSD wires.

I use the stock shields and MSD wires.

I would use the shields on any type of wire you use.

I never used shields on my stock plug wires with Pacesetters and never had any problems. The only part of the plug wire that comes into contact or comes close to contacting the header primaries are the boots, and those are solid rubber and should insulate the plug wire enough that additional shielding is not needed.

I just ordered some long tubes also, most say use the heatshields on the wires, but I think I will see what happens without them. I will just use my old wires at first.
