Default Guys with magnacharger having a delay on throttle tip in?

I have checked out some of superchips programs for the magnacharger and it seems to me that there is a huge delay in harder throttle off idle. I have also had a few people call me about this same scenario. Wanted to know if this is a widespread ordeal. Reason being there is a large amount of air forced in and they do not have it setup to handle it in fuel or timing curves.

Yep. There is a "bog" when you floor it from a stop. You got a fix?

I noticed a surging feeling with the Whipple. I know it is not a Magnacharger, but it may help in tuning...
When there is a large change in air flow passed through the MAF in a short time interval, the PCM would lessen timing by i think 7*-9*. I changed that timing table, and it would not do that surging feeling anymore. That is the extent of my timing issue with the Whipple. As for the fuel situation, make sure you have enough in the PE table to match the new power from advancing the timing.

I had the same thing when I started tuning. No more.. Your programing may have to reference the PE tables sooner or the fuel enrichment might be off..

The PE threshold is set too high. But the other prob is there is no timing where the hard throttle off idle so it bogs. I have done numerous tunes fopr a company that is building kit cars with the 5.3 and I have gotten rid of the problem. done alot of playing with the trannie to unlock and downshift when the TPS in in the right area and the SC starts to make boost, otherwise it is more likely to ping. I got some aggressive stuff. If anyone has edit I can help or If they want me to do it I can do that too.

I noticed that too .. it's like it stumbles off the line. The bad thing is, when it catches itself off the stumble it's on like a scalded *** ape which usually ends up in spinning tires and wasted power. If it were more smooth about it .. it would be much more effecient. I did cure this problem some by adding a little bit of timing.

I called and asked MagnaCharger about this cause mine was doing it pretty bad and I was told it was because of my shift points and maybe my convertor. I am still tryin to figure the shift points one out .. but .. that's the response I got.
