Exclamation Guys i need yalls opinion

I GOT A 99 5.3 LITER ENGINE me an a buddy put an ls6 cam with ls2 springs and i was wondering if we did this combination right i used stock pushrods

I believe that the LS2 springs are the same as LS6 springs, someone will correct me if I'm wrong. As for the pushrods, *theoretically* you'd need about a 7.425 pushrod as opposed to the factory 7.38 due to the LS6 cam's .050 smaller base circle, but many guys have reported using the stock pushrods without any problems....so you should be good to go.

yeah i got stock pushrods and i dont kno if there the same gm performance parts told me to use the yellow springs but im using the stock ls2 springs cause a buddy said he pressure tested them an said it will hold to the lift

Well, I know that the closed seat pressure of the yellow LS6 springs is 90#, can't remember open seat pressure...what kind of pressure numbers did he give you?
