Default gutted cats?

if i gut the cats out is it going to effect the computer and send mixed signals? do you need to do o2 sims to gut the cats?

yes, you need either o2 sims or a custom tune.

so where do you find the o2 sims? dealer? how well do they work has anyone heard? possitive or negitive.

on the search i saw something about using the "help" defoulers. it says that you drill a 1/2" hole in one of them. so you drill that from top to bottom or through the side. it is my thought that if it is through the side then you will have an exaust leak. but that is the only way that i could see them getting the air that they need to not trip the ses light. can anyone else add on this?

their is a set of 02 sims in the classifieds section. dude wants 70 bucks or somethin.

a little off topic but how far away do the 02 sensors need to be from cutouts if you have them?

hey got to the search and look for 02 sims. check out "defoulers really work" pretty interesting.

i say at least four to six inches away. you don't want fresh air getting in there to mess with the readings
