Question Granatelli MAF for VHO

I was wondering if any of you guys have had experiences using a Granatelli MAF meter on their VHO?
If so, what advantages or disadvantages were noticed?

Anyone I have talked too has had nothing but problems and said it is a usless mod. Alot of check engine lights to go with it.

Default Same Here.

Your OE MAF will out flow your OE throttle body. A high dollar placebo.

Almost everyone is still using their stock MAF. It is quite adequate. Those that have changed them are having a tough time tuning and throwing codes.

Well thanks for the input guys.
There advertised gains of 10-23 RWHP are impressive numbers. That is why I wanted to know before I put it on my to do in the future list.

Though I tell you what, I installed a Pro-M maf meter on my 93 stang and it definitely boosted my performance. I felt the gain as it pushed me harder into the seat.
The Pro-M unit is made of a lot better quality than the Granatelli maf meter.
I just don't believe Pro-M makes maf meters for GM or at least not the GM trucks.

i have never heard of that company making any maff for us. i think jet and granatelli are the only ones and i am not even sure jet makes it for the nbs truck. i just seen the ad in the ragazines. stay away from the aftermarket on this one. they aren't worth the money
