Considering it leaned my truck out to the point it would not run, I would say bad investment. Now I may have gotten a bad one (took it back and kept the stocker), but for the 300+ it costs, I can think of better things to get.

i have seen way too many bad reports on the GMS MAF to recomend that to anyone. Pretty much everyone who has anything more than basic mods and uses one has stated that it leaned out the truck to much. Alot of times going so lean as to throw a code.
definatley not a good investment for the 300bucks they want. for not much more than that you could get electric fans AND underdrive pulleys
just my opinion

2 piece underdrive pulley kit with belts and crank bolt cost 220 from tbyrne, a normal price
electric fans can sometimes be found at a junk yard, or on ebay for 70-150 dollars. (lt1 or ls1 fans only)
if you want to get flex-a-lite style fans its going to cost ALOT more though (250+ probably)

I had one on my truck before the Whipple and did not notice any difference except a lounder intake noise. I traded my dad for his stock one when I got my Whipple. On his truck, which is a 6.0L, it did make a noticable difference in throttle response but it is a stock engine. I would not waste my money on it if I had the chance again.

well i dont have numbers to prove any kind of gain. only thing is by racing a friend. he had a dodge r/t w/ exhaust and he ran a consistant 14.9 at 90mph. on the street he would always beat me but when i got the pulley we were even with each other but when i got the granatelli i passed him up. i have never had any problems with it. i would recommend it.

I got mine because it came as a combo with the granatelli cold air intake kit (same as k&n fipk) all for $425. I have no comlaints with it so far. I haven't checked my wot fuel trims yet but normal driving they run like +7.8 so it's a little lean but it's correcting for it and has never shown a code light.
