Default Got a question about the corvette servo I got in the mail today

I recently ordered a vette servo from kdsperformance. Here is the link to what I ordered. http://www.kdsperformance.com/corser700r44.html
It stated that it was for all 700-R4/4l60/4l60e all years. When I took it out of the box to look at it, it only has the 700-R4 written on it. It is the servo in the picture, so I was just wanting to make sure it was the right one. It was made by transtar industries. Is this what I was looking for?

depends on what your wanting. but IMO anything is better than nothing.
the servo i have applies presure to the 1-2 and the 3-4 shift. making it shift firm through all the gears.
the one i had before it was a TCI HP servo. but basically the same thing. only diff. is I spent 70 dollars on it instead of 15.
of course any servo adds a better feel to the trans. I think you will like it. good thing is that if you dont all you have to do is pull it back out and replace with another one.

hey did you ever fix your traction problems?

That's a negative on the traction. I'm slowly learning not to be so anxious coming out of the hole and kinda feather it. I still get tire spin due to the hard *** tires and cooler weather. I know I will have serious traction problems as soon as I get this stall put in. That's the task at hand right now( getting all my tranny crap out of my floor and into my truck). Hopefully, I'll have it done in the next week or two. I hate coming home every day and looking at it in my floor. It just pisses me off now.

Most 700r4 parts and 4l60e stuff is interchangable.

The corvette servo will stiffen up the 1-2 shift a little. If that's the only pieces you got, that's all it will affect. The intermediate servo (what's in the picture) is what applies the band to the drum when it makes the shift into 2nd gear. The piece that you will pull out of the bore before you get to the intermediate is what applies the band for the 3-4 shift.

no i wouldnt think so
the shift kit is going to make it shift quicker. up and down.
the servo just applies more pressure to make it shift more firm.
