either you have one hell of a starter, or you have no compression on two or more cylinders.

no kidding, your starter is zinging FAST !

Both times when you clicked your ignition over, I couldn't hear the injectors, or the FP.

Are all of your plugs in and tight? . . . . how big is your battery, your starter really kicks over fast.

go home and check your compression on each cyl. I bet you find 5 or more dead holes.

Well I ran across a couple of things, first i did a compression check on #1 and #3 and they both put out about 30psi. not good. well i poped the valve cover off and pulled the rockers off and bam 130psi. so i know now its either too long push rods or the cam is off. well i took the front off and sure enough the adjustable timing chain adjusted itself and was off about 4 or 5 teeth. so i put the stock cam gear back on and realingned it.

well the cam being out a little bit wasn't it. i ended up backing the rockers off about 2 full turns on the bolt and i have full compression so i just ordered some pushrod length checkers. Hopefully that will take care of my problem.

THe fuel pump will come on and go off. It has a 3 second period of coming on with the key. If the start isn't engaged, it will not continue to go. It's pretty much just a prime cycle.

The FP dropping sounds like maybe a busted oring in the regulator.

I wasn't getting any pressure at the fuel rail, the pump made a crazy loud hum, 10x's louder than normal before it quit. i replaced it with a stocker and i got pressure now.

well after getting the pushrod length checkers in and measuring. it wasn't the pushrods. so i start thinking and put the motor at tdc according to the timing marks on the timing gear i realized it really wasn't tdc. i had a piece of copper wire sticking down in the spark plug hole and i turned the motor over by hand and about a half a turn i finally reached tdc and the timing marks are no where near each other. so i lower the oil pan and pull the oil pump and sure enough the crank timing gear was put on wrong(not by me). so i put it back on right and got the cam lined up and bolted everything back together and one turn of the key it started right up.
