Got the 6.0 today,finally.It's a little dirty,needs some cleaning up,but all looks good so far.I was told it has 11k miles on it,there is no paint worn off the water pump pelly so I'm thinking that may be true. One question,it has EGR and I was told it was out of a 2002 truck.Did the 2002 6.0(lq4) engine have egr? I know the 4.8 and 5.3 didi not.

Maybe some of the early ones. But most of them in 2002 did not.

 

Mine has egr. Not sure when they made the cut in '02.

I'm gonna try my best to have it ready for CTC, but i'm running out of time fast.I feel like i'm in my own episode of Monster garage,only so many days to succeed or I fail. I started pulling some things off tonight before i left work,i'll do alittle each night til it's time to do the swap.What sucks is I have to work this saturday

Smoky02-Yep the Whipple is going on.....I mean no it isn't
