I am new to the this game and need some help. I am putting this in a 72 2wd blazer. I know that I want to do the ls1 intake swap for sure. I am probally just going to run my turbo 400 or maybe a 700r4 that I have. I am thinking a 2500 stall. What kind of hp numbers will I be able to get with a cam (I want a mean cam that will sound like a old big block), ls1 intake, headers, and computer reworked? Give me some opinions on what to do. How much difference would a set of 243 heads make? Thanks in advance.

you want an LS6 intake and you'll definately need the pcm reworked.

watch the compression with whatever heads you go with

I am for sure going to do the intake swap, I think the truck intake looks like crap. I may keep the factory heads. I would like to see some numbers from someone that has done the intake,243 heads, and cam.

I'd predict around 320-330 rwhp with an LS6 intake, big *** cam, and a good tune.
