LOL. I image it will be even louder once I get headers/Y pipe on. Now I just have to wire the cutout up so I can close it up when I'm pulling into my parking lot! I don't want to **** people off to bad

you will want that and occasionally you will just want a quieter drive! what year is the truck, if its 99-02 it will be a world of difference with headers.
one of my friends had a 2000 with just a glasspack and it wasn't very loud, my camaro had a high flow cat with the cutout right behind it and it was ridiculous

well have fun and dont get the cops chasing after you!

I live in St. Louis city 5 minutes from the Mississippi. The cops could care less. Around here you can get away with pretty much anything. They've got much more pressing issues to take care of.

I felt it more uptop. Down low I think I lost a little maybe it's just in my head though from reading it from time to time

Guys, I was completely wrong about losing down low. I blocked off the plate and was like WTF. I gained EVERYWHERE with the cutout. Better throttle response too.

The sound throws you off, lots of noise earlier in the rpms plays tricks with your mind. I have seen alot of dyno's prove that you gain across the board. Its more fun that way!
