Heres a quick pic I took of my cam I just took out. I put about 10,000 miles on it. I'm about to sell this cam to a friend, and was wondering if the wear pattern looks good on it, and if my lifters are still going good. This is a pretty close pic, but all the lobes look the same.

 

i got a cam from Silver-mod-o thats been in about 3 or 4 different engines and it looks similar to that. You can see the different color lines on the lobes but cant feel anything with your finger.

Looks good to me.

 

I installed an used cam in my truck a week ago, it had 5000 miles when I got it and looks like that. The stock cam I removed has 40000 miles and looks like that too. You should be fine.

 

it looks terrible, you should be ashamed of yourself selling a cam in that shape
