A good cam for my ls1 5.7

the 228r should make 12's on motor with the stock heads.

he is running a 5.7 not 5.3... i ran 12's with a 5.3,tsp224 and 3400 stall... 228r and a 3400 stall would easily be 12's... get some work done to the heads mid 12's with the a good 1.6-1.7 60''

im swapping an ls1 into my truck in a few months, in goin with the comp xer281, 232/234 595/598 112. i have talked to comp, and 2 other sponsors on here, and they said with it would be a good streetable cam, plus i have a badass tuner, so i wont have any issues. go a tad bigger than u want, save yourself some money!!!!!

I was going to put the cam in my sig. in it but now im on the fence about doing it or buying one like you mentioned. Since there are more cubic inches i think a tad bigger cam would it some justice.
