Default Gonna snag me a LS1

There is a block around here i can get really cheap, question is, how big can you go on one? nothing crazy, but ive heard u can take a 5.3 to a 5.7, so 5.7 to.....? any good combinations you all could recommend? thanks, chris

small tr220, 3600 verter, and 4.10's with the right tuning would be 12's!! ls1 should be low 12-high 11's with the right setup. put verter, and built trans on your mod list.

i was looking at a trick flow power pack, in summit, claims 500 hp and 460 lbs with a stock ls1 with 10-5-1 compression and ls6 intake. got me wondering

11's are pretty hard to get, TRUST ME!!!!!!! On motor anyways...lol!

That TFS package isnt what they claim it is. Especially without atleast 11.5:1 CR. Also alot more than what they tell you, is that you HAVE TO run aftermarket rockers with the TFS heads.

Ohh and my trans is the STOCK one that was in it from GM, I added a 24,000 tranny cooler, Transgo HD-2 shift kit, vette servo, billet OD servo, and tried to kill it with the TCI Competition 3800 stall (but still havnt succeded, and killed the verter once...lol). Ive got almost 70,000 miles on the trans at the moment.

Your transmission will break into 3 pieces and fall out of the truck on your way to work tomorrow......
