Default Going to try Corsa Performance Cat-back for trucks!

I spoke with Jim at Corsa Performance this morning about their truck exhaust systems. We are carrying their cat-back systems for the C5's and f-bodies, and so it was only logical to inquire about the truck cat-back. However, he contacted me about it. I have never heard the system on a truck, but I bet it will sound just as great as it does on an f-body and C5! And if you've never seen the polished exhaust tips that come on the system, then you need to check it out on their website. You'll want to hang it on the wall and stare at it. It has a really nice tone on the LS1 cars. I am also going to be checking into expanding our performance and appearance products to include the '99+ GM trucks. It would include various exhaust systems, induction kits, wheels, billet grilles, power programmers, thermostats, etc.

I will get some pictures of the cat-back uninstalled and installed once I do receive it. You can check out Corsa's website here. They have a sound clip of the system on a truck, but it sounds like an f-body to me. Hopefully I'll have a way to get a sound clip for everyone to listen to.

BlackBeauty - That's like saying that you're truck is four wheels, a body and an engine. You're going to pay more for a complete stainless steel cat-back, and it's attention to detail like the awesome polished tips on it. It also comes with a warranty that lasts as long as you own the vehicle. Do you want the Cadillac or the Chevette?

Maybe we can offer an introductory price on the Corsa cat-back. I'll talk it over with Lou when he gets back into town. FYI, they are finishing up the cat-backs for the HD's as well, so there will something for the big boys.

well i am a firm believer in you get what you pay for, so i have no doubts about the system.
looks (A+)
sounds (A++)

like RED2K says, i too am getting tired of using the same 'ol flowmaster setup. i've used it with both of my trucks so far. i'm tired of that same old two tailpipes out the rear end also, so this system does appeal to me no doubt.
good thing about his is, you can use it for both an appearance and performance mod at the same time!! if i have the money when the system comes out, i'm down to buy it!!

I know several HFB members with the corsa exhaust. They are very pleased with sound and performance.. I've already E-Mailed corsa about a true dual application for my truck.I don't want to go back to single exhaust..Let us know how it performs on your truck..

I've been looking at their exhaust also but haven't heard any thing about performance or fit and finish. I inquired about a PV catback but the wait was at least 3 weeks. If you get special pricing I would be very interested.

I have been lurking for the past month since I bought a 2002 2wd 5.3 RC/SB LS. I just installed the Corsa Cat-back a couple weeks ago. The fit and finish are top notch and the sound quality is amazing. There is absouluely zero interior resonance at any cruising speed. Now if you get into the throttle, it sounds cooler than my LS1 Formula sounded with the Ram Air Muffler. It took about 2 hours to install start to finish, including removing the old exhaust. Just jack up the truck and let the rear axle droop and the stock exhaust comes out very easy. The tips are very nice but looked a little out of place until I put my 18's on. Now I am very pleased with the look. As far as power increase, I am not gonna lie, I couldnt really tell a difference. Next step is LS1-edit and a day at the dyno.
