i find it hard to believe that my truck will be so ******* slow its pathetic... the fact that an LS6 has 400 hp might say otherwise.

im trying to get down to one vehicle simple as that, and it is NOT fun driving a 2wd truck with a 4000 stall in 4" of snow... time to sacrafice horsepower. besides i got alot of other **** going on right now with my parents and a new house they just bought and frankly what my time slip says anymore isnt top priority

On the trucker it says the lift is .551/.551, are the stock LS6 springs that would come on assembled 243s/799s good for up to .580 or is that just the Lingenfelter ones? EDIT: looks like stock LS6 springs only good to .550, true?

Anyone else on here runnin this one Andy? Thanks mang

set yourself for 400hp, your not setting any track records, and it'll be driveable in the bad weather.

whats the use of having 500hp, if you cant hook it up. find a power range that you can hookup street tires, on the street.

if later you feel you need a little more, give it a 75 shot.

just my .02 cents

I've heard that the yellow LS6 springs are good up to .550, but then I've seen Lingenfelter cams with .581 that recommend LS6 springs? One thing that I have noticed though, is SDPC recommends the LS6 springs for their Z+220 cam, which is basically a Crane/Vinci Stangbanger (220/224 .551/.551 114). Soooo, if SDPC is correct, then the LS6 springs should be fine for the Trucker which probably uses the same lobes, with less intake duration.

or realize winter is only a few more weeks long. that gives you plenty of months to find another beater for next year. no reason to make the truck slower then it already is.

the converter is so bad ***, i love it... if i didnt need to go down to one vehicle id keep it in a heartbeat. but i think the best thing to do is go back down in low 3ks with a bit smaller of a cam, ive dd'd my 224 for awhile and its actually quite streetable, only problem is i think the cam personally sucks
