That is a Gen 3 LQ4 motor, 2004+ year.

Note the LS2 style lifter trays

Yeah Zeke it does like the Good man above said look like an 04 - newer LQ4, looks pretty clean , I bet you will see crosshatching still in the bores , 100k ain't sheet on an LS engine as long as it was cared for.

BTW any 03-07 PCM from a truck/SUV will work on your truck . Doesn't matter if it was 4.8 5.3 6.0 , , the tuning is just different . You can use your current PCM with a retune for 6.0 specs .

Thanks alot guys I hope he dint sell it I plan on meeting him tuesday when I get paid.

Now I gotta save for more go fast parts. Once I start getting parts ill start a build threat an go from there. Heres a couple cleaner pics.

Nice!

Another way to tell its an 04+ motor is the low profile oil pressure sensor. The older ones are taller and have a different plug connection.

Is that what that is on the back of the block thats like yellow plastic?

Lol sorry I know nothing about these engines ima have to get a chilton book lol.
