Default GM part number for exh manifold stud to y pipe?

Im trying to remove the y pipe from my bros truck. I cant get to the driver side top nut on the collector stud. Ive tried wobble extensions, ujoints, and used a 3/4 imapct. The F'n thing wont come off and now its stripped. Im going to have to cut it off to get the manifold off. Does gm sell just this stud? I know it takes a 15mm socket on the bottom. Once I cut it off, Im going to take it to work and heat it with a torch and get the cut stud out of the manifold.

thanks a bunch
matt

Should be just a regular stud at any parts store. Just match the thread pitch going into the manifold.

you would think so but I remember back in the day when I had my TA and it had the same setup as the truck...I could not find any studs at any of the parts stores. I think because it was metric. I also "thought" at the time GM did not sell just that stud...but thats been 5 or 6 years ago so I dont quite remember.

The most common exhaust flange stud is part # 11589264. That will be the correct number for about 98% of the vehicles disussed on this forum.

well, I called and ordered all my stuff through scoggin dickey, however they told me that stud is not sold and only comes in a new manifold. I looked up one of my old threads on tech and found the part number for my trans Am and it was 10220453, it looked to be the same stud but I dont know. Since they already (hopefully) have shipped my order, Ill call the local dealer and see if I can get the part number you posted by thursday. If not, Ill swing by one of the nut and bolt shops here in town and get a grade 8 metric allthread in 10mmx1.5 and weld a nut on the top side and make my own damn stud. :nunchuk1: Thanks for the part number
