Well i posted awile ago on my running board cover blowing off and it dented, and scratched whole passerger side. from rear door back.. Well i called gm 1-800 number told them about it,they said to take to my dealer,well i got a call fri they said they woul repaint and fix the dent and scratches : So i dropped my truck off fri night.they allso game me 44.00 per day for a rental.So enterprise pulls up in silver birch 1500 hd with 1000 miles on the clock,look under hood 2005 6.0 Well ive clocked 320 miles on it and all i can say is i miss my avalanche,dont get me wrong nice truck but the ride sucks,compared to the 4 link suspension in the av yu can feel evry bump in the road and traction is a real issue i can burn the tires off from a stop evan with tq mgt.Speaking of tq mgt, i forgot what it was like cant stand it.Anyways the way gm stepped up to the plate on this just makes me validate my decision to buy a gm vehicle.
