Nice times in street trim. How much will you lose going back to the SS wheels and tires?

Texas Motorplex in Ennis had a test and tune last night.

I figure the wheels and tires are probably 20 pounds lighter each. Maybe .2 for the 20s.

I was hoping for a 12.5 since its getting warmer and I had the weight. Had I known it was running that well, I would have pulled off a few pounds and been a little more prepared. I should have weighed it. I'm betting 5500 with driver, since I'm 260. Idle is all worked out now.

If you can produce mid 12s in street trim you sure don't have to worry about much out there on the streets being faster.

Its been too long in coming, but I made 3 quick laps around the track this evening. 70* temps outside. Full weight with tailgate up. I wanted to know exactly how my truck runs in street form, not stripped down to a shell. Only change I made was slapping on some stock 17" escalade wheels before I left home this morning. I had tools and a cooler in the back seat, so maybe that makes up for it.

First run as a 12.31 @ 109.36 on a 1.72 60'. 7.80 1/8th @ 87.4

Second was 15 minutes after the first - 12.5 @ 107.2 - 1.79 60'.

Third was 30 minutes after that. 12.34 @ 107.2 on a 1.67 60'. 7.75 1/8th

Not too bad for what it is. It really jumps out of the hole. I'm getting 8psi from the radix.
Those are some nice numbers right there That 60 ft is smoking fast!
