Default GIBSON muffler performance? CFM?

Well tommrow I will have a free Gibson muffler, was on a wrecked Yukon has single in dual out with gibson tips as well. However Im only getting the muffler for free, someone else wants the tips. How will this muffler sound and breathe behind me Vortec MAX engine? I plan to cut off the stock muffler on my Tahoe and weld the Gibson in place, where the 2 out exit at the mufffler, I planned to dump them right there, under the truck. Really want to go dump/stealth look this round. Just was wanting more info on GIBSON CFM or even how it would sound behind that engine.

They sound amazing when they are new, the only problem around where I live is the rust really gets to them, usually about 2-3 years and they are rotted right off, but if you are down south they are a great muffler

My Gibson muffler is stainless and has held together on my truck for over 10 years in the northeast...it's a big *** muffler, round and like 24" long. It was way to quiet when it was dual out the back (single 3" in, dual 2.5" out), but once I removed the tailpipes and dumped it before the axle it sounded really good...I'm tired of it though, going a different route very soon

Gibson makes a good muffler and they flow pretty good as well. As far as sound goes I like them, they are pretty tame on the inside but still put out some growl on the outside.

i almost bought the super truck version of it until i found out if you dont get stainless your probably going to have to replace it in about 2 years. i went with MBRP, life time warranty on their muffler and it sounds bitchin.
