if my exhaust last 100K i'd be very suprised. what do you want for under $300? it isn't stainless steel. the header gaskets work great for me considering i got my headers used and reused all the old gaskets. no leaks anywhere. just make sure they are torqued properly to 18 ft lbs and you use blue loc-tite per the GM service manual.

I've had the Gibson single in, dual out back on mine for 3 years, about 23k now, and haven't had a problem. It's very quiet at idle but rumbles nice when you get on it. Haven't experienced any drone at all. I installed the Gibson shorty headers at the same time and haven't had a problem with them either. If I get 5 years out of the exhaust I'll be happy.

His post did say he had 100k on it and if thats the case I could see there being some chance of it having problems. As with any parts you out on you could get 100 people to give you input and will get people on both sides of the fence about it. I think it is all up to you the individual to make up your own mind. Like my Gibson didn't like my flowmaster too loud but that is just my opinion. I think they both make a fine product I just like the quieter sound of mine.
