Default Getting Volant CAI on Tuesday

I just went to the local performance shop and got it, should be here on Tuesday. I'm going to be really pissed if there isn't a noticeable gain because it cost me $313 (with tax). I can almost get a cam for that much money.

Youll notice a change in the sound..........

I didnt notice much either, maybe a slight improvement. I noticed more from the LS1 fan install, which surprised me.

Save youre money for gears, posi, stall, radix. You will have a mid to low 13 sec truck. The Volant is not a waste of money did you get the ram air tube? You should.

I dont reget buying my volant. I bought mine for around 200. It is louder and I think its definately helped out on gas milage.

Will try to find my old time slips. Stock vs Volant and Exhaust.
Here ya go: https://ls1tech.com/forums/attachmen...chmentid=12869

Times in sig, 1st just volant and corsa with around 10k on truck. 2nd same plus HPP3.

Being at this elevation it is just hard to feel gains unless they are huge ones.

I think you will enjoy the unit.

Not a huge performance difference but it sounds meaner. My Airaid works really well with the perma-cool e-fans. If I'm standing outside my truck when the fans kick on it burns my ankles, so I know it's pulling in lots of colder air.
