I personally didnt feel much of a power difference, but thats because my tranny is a POS.
But judgeing by track times and what other people say, its alot faster.

you'll mostly feel the difference off the line since TM will be gone.

You won't gain any power whatso ever with a tune

Not depending who ya get it from, it should feel like a whole new truck. If it is a good tune, you could expect half a second of your 1/4 time, a lot in the butt meter...

It is a feature programed into the computer to cut power to the trans between shifts. Kinda like abuse mode.... It helps to prolong the tranny life, but the tune in itself has shortend that already..

I got a 93 wheatley .;tune. It's not really a big difference. The biggest difference is at wot. Gas mileage went from 15 to 17

You will like the tune if done right. It will make the truck drive and shift better. Possibly get better mpg. It should make it quicker, but remember that it takes a little while to fully learn the tune.

Who's tuning? (just the name is fine) and how, on the street, dynomometer or is it a mail-order tune?

You should notice a nice improvement in the way it drives and shifts.
