What mods are done to the truck? A bad or dirty MAF will cause false lean codes, while other issues could be vacuum leak(s), exhaust leaks causing incorrect O2 readings, low fuel pressure or volume (fuel pump, filter), etc.

If you have an oil type filter you could have over oiled and it's getting on the maf.

However, if I had to take a guess I'd say you have an intake leak.

Wondering if this is starting to sound like mine Billy? It is an '02 and I'm sure that it has some miles on it.

Sounds like it's time to get some scanning software on the chariot and see what the data says I guess that the idle re-learn was a no-go huh

I thought the flashing CEL meant engine misfire....might want to have it checked out. Even if the light isnt on the codes are stored in the history until they are cleared.

An extremely lean condition will cause a flashing SES....heppened to me when I installed my LSX swap w/no tuning. I had system lean bank 1&2 also.

Put it in a garage or shop with the doors closed so there is no wind and spray carb cleaner around the intake.
I'd start there personally.

Get a scanner on it of some sort. If you have an air leak your long term fuel trims will be maxed out at +25%. It does sound like an intake leak somewhere.

That is correct, flashing CEL = misfire that is extreme enough (> 50% I believe) to cause catalytic converter damage
